La Madrugá.
Yasser Tejeda’s third album.
La Madrugá was an exceptional project in which I had the honor of taking on photography and art direction. This work was part of the third album by Dominican musician Yasser Tejeda and was developed in collaboration with the creativity and conceptual vision of Fernando Soriano.
Yasser Tejeda, an artist based in New York City, has built a unique musical proposal that fuses traditional Dominican rhythms with rock, jazz, and other contemporary genres.
The photo shoot took place in the northern region of the Dominican Republic, spanning Nagua, Cabrera, and Río San Juan—an emblematic area and birthplace of many great musical talents. This location was chosen by Yasser and Fernando as an essential part of the album’s artistic concept.
